Quality Control & Quality Assurance

Dalma Tech2 personnel have functioned as quality control (QC) inspectors for The United States Air Force, The Royal Saudi Air Force, and various high-profile clients.  The main objective of our quality control (QC) is to ensure that the business is achieving the standards it sets for itself. Dalma Tech² QC is used to verify the quality of the output. In almost every business operation, it is not possible to achieve perfection. For example, there will always be some variation in terms of materials used, production skills applied, reliability of the finished product, etc. Dalma Tech²’s QC involves setting standards about how much variation is acceptable. Dalma Tech²’s aim is to ensure that a product being utilized on a project, or a service being provided, meets the specifications which ensure customer needs are met. 


With QC, inspection is intended to prevent faulty products or low standard work reaches the customer. Dalma Tech²’s embraces this approach of having specially trained inspectors, rather than every individual being responsible for his or her own work, which pays dividends when the job is completed. 


Dalma Tech²’s Quality Assurance (QA) is focused on planning, documenting, and agreeing on a set of guidelines that are necessary to assure quality. Dalma Tech²’s QA planning is undertaken at the beginning of a project and draws on both specifications and industry or company standards. Dalma Tech²’s typical outcomes of the QA planning activities are quality plans, inspection, test plans, the selection of defect tracking tools, and the training of people in the selected methods and processes. 


Undertaking QA at the beginning of a project is a key tool to mitigate the risks that have been identified during the specification phases. Dalma Tech² knows that communication plays a pivotal role in managing project risk, and is crucial for realizing effective QA. Part of any risk mitigation strategy is the clear communication of both the risks and their associated remedies to the team or teams involved in the project. In other words, QA is a proactive management practice that is used to assure a stated level of quality for any project initiative. 

Transition Maintenance

Dalma Tech² can assist in the transition from Installation and Checkout to operations and maintenance to ensure compliance with statutory, technical, and contractual requirements; safety and efficiency in operations and maintenance; definition and maintenance of client obligations including those of the contractor’s, warrantors, operators and maintainers; and support with warranty claims management. 


Dalma Tech² provides extensions to warranty service with client-trained technicians and engineers along with repair and return service. 

Logistics & Configuration Management

Dalma Tech² sees Logistics and Configuration Management as a multifaceted process with many elements. Each element is important in its own way. With Dalma Tech²’s approach, they are brought together under one umbrella and integrated into one cohesive unit.  Dalma Tech²’s capability in logistics is identified under four (4) distinct categories: 


  • Business Logistics – The science of planning, design, and support of business operations of procurement, purchasing, inventory, warehousing, distribution, transportation, customer support, financial and human resources. 
  • Acquisition Logistics – Acquisition Logistics is everything involved in acquiring logistics support equipment and personnel for project systems. The process of systematically identifying, defining, designing, developing, producing, acquiring, delivering, installing, and upgrading logistics support capability requirements through the acquisition process for project subsystems and equipment. 
  • Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) – ILS is a management function that provides planning, funding, and functioning controls which help to assure that the system meets performance requirements, is developed at a reasonable price, and can be supported throughout its life cycle. ILS encompasses the unified management of the technical logistics elements that plan and develop the support requirements for a system. This can include hardware, software, and the provisioning of training and maintenance resources. 
  • Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) – Simply put, LSA is the iterative process of identifying support requirements for a new system, especially in the early stages of system design. The main goals of LSA are to ensure that the system will perform as intended and to influence the design for support and affordability. 


Dalma Tech²’s Configuration Management (CM) concentrates on the capability, prior to and after integration, to measure and document system changes and keep released information clear, concise, and up-to-date. As information integrity improves, the need for corrective action declines. As corrective action declines, real improvements become increasingly robust. In other words, Dalma Tech² understands configuration management and can therefore focus on real improvements (new client products, software and better processes, and so on). 


To let Dalma Tech² “manage a projects CM” is to provide a better business process infrastructure and thereby enable other core business processes to be more reliable and efficient. 

Strategic Acquisitions and Local Content Procurement

Strategic Acquisitions and Technology Procurement (SATP) is represented by Dalma Tech² professionals who manage and deliver strategic procurement planning, advice, and complex procurement implementation services for major acquisitions across government and the broader public sector. When providing SATP, Dalma Tech²’ objectives as simple; they are: 


  • Comply with the Kingdoms Vision 2030 requirements to include local industries in delivering the supply contract as well as building new self-sufficient capabilities  
  • Deliver High Quality consulting and advisory services on complex and strategic opportunities for government and the public sector throughout the program life cycle 
  • Develop more innovative, risk-free, and flexible procurement methods to reflect trends in the public and private sectors 
  • Research and develop new products and services for new or emerging markets 


Dalma Tech²’s SATP can provide ongoing procurement advisory services to a wide variety of clients encompassing projects of a general nature (e.g. designing and establishing qualified supplier’s listings, Request for Proposals, etc.) through to more complicated or non-routine procurement. 

Life Support Services

The foundation of Dalma Tech²’s Life Support Services (LSS) incorporates our hands-on knowledge of current Saudi Arabian Government (SAG) Laws and Regulations, specifically pertaining to the ability of clients’ personnel to enter and work within the Kingdom. 


Dalma Tech² provides our clients with all the required In-Kingdom Life Support Services to allow for a successful project by implementing policies and procedures within the framework of Saudi Arabian law, customs, and the customers’ directives that have been proven to mitigate risk and promote on time completion of assigned tasks. 


The LSS provided will be comprised of a number of components that will focus on providing the following services:
